Chinese businessman was found dead inside a Davao City, his head believed to have been slammed into the wall by his still unidentified male visitor who disappeared shortly before the victim’s body was discovered last Friday.

The body of Norman K. Dy, proprietor and president of NKD International Trading Corp., was found inside Room 303 of the D’Leonor Hotel located at JP Laurel Avenue, Davao City at 9:45 a.m. Friday, said a Police Regional Office 11 report.

Initial investigation by the Davao City Police Office showed that the victim checked in at the hotel at 6 a.m. Thursday shortly after arriving from Manila to deliver supplies to Robinsons Mall.

Police said the hotel’s closed-circuit television (CCTV)showed that the victim had an unidentified male visitor who was described as about 5’7” in height, of slim built, around 25-27 years old and a cap, a light brown shirt and  jeans and carrying a backpack.

PRO1 director Chief Supt. Jaime Morente said the victim’s head was believed to have been slammed on the wall by the killer due to the splatter of blood at the wall.
